Autoslack is designed to keep your Slackware Linux system up to date automatically. It reads a configuration file to get the FTP site you wish to use, the distribution directory to use, and where to store the packages on your system. It will show what's been updated based on what you have installed, what's new since you installed, and optionally download and install the packages.
etrace makes use of the -finstrument-functions feature from gcc to log all function calls and display them as a call tree during run-time. The call tree can also be logged to a file. This lets you follow a program's execution path path without using a debugger. etrace consists of 80 lines of Python and 100 lines of C code.
Linuxlord is a client/server architecture to enable Web-based thin client computing using Linux. Linuxlord allows you to login to your Linux desktop from everywhere via a Java applet running in your Web browser. It supports compression, making it useful even over a dialup connection.
The Linux CD-ROM Game System shows you how to create bootable CD-ROMs that are designed for playing a single game that runs under Linux. The CD-ROM contains only the game to be played and the minimal Linux installation necessary to play it. Using one of these CD-ROMs makes a PC resemble a consumer game console. The PC used does not need to have Linux installed.

MRML for KDE is a KDE MRML client which offers integration of content-based queries into Konqueror/KDE. It consists of a KPart (which could be embedded into Konqueror for example) and a kio-slave for communication with the MRML server. You can right-click on an image and choose "Search for similar images..." in the context-menu, which will perform a query on a server and present you a thumbnail view of the results. You can also refine queries by giving relevance feedback.
The k6mult utility sets the CPU multiplier factor on AMD K6-III+ and K6-2+ processors featuring AMD PowerNow(tm). The CPU clock speed is determined by multiplying this factor by the Front Side Bus (FSB) speed. You should use the k6mult utility if you want to increase the multiplier factor after boot to overcome boot-time CPU speed limitations in some BIOSs that do not recognize the K6-III+, or to lower the CPU speed after boot to save power. k6mult comes with a command-line program of the same name to set the CPU multiplier factor immediately, and a boot-time service to set the parameter from a config file.
dvbackup encapsulates arbitrary files into a raw DV data stream suitable for writing on a DV tape. It uses all of the audio data and the space reserved for the AC coefficients of the video data. You also need dvconnect from the libdv project to transmit the data over firewire. The latest version of dvconnect is always included.
