OpticalRayTracer analyzes systems of lenses. It uses optical principles and a virtual optical bench to predict the behavior of many kinds of ordinary and exotic lens types. It includes an easy-to-use interface that allows the user to rearrange the optical configuration by simply dragging lenses around using the mouse. It fully analyzes lens optical properties, including refraction and dispersion. The dispersion display uses color-coded light beams to simplify interpretation of the results.
Coyotl collects several C++ tools that have proven useful in many of the author's programs, but which aren't "big enough" to warrant an individual library. Classes include polymorphic psuedorandom number generators, floating-point functions and utilities, maze generators, a simple cross-platform commandline parser, and design-by-contract tools.
femail provides a sendmail-compatible commandline interface and forwards mail via SMTP. Unlike many other implementations, it is fully RFC 2821 and 2822 compatible. It embeds extra environment information from Apache in the header, if present, to help with tracking down abuse. It is written with security as a main design goal.
Perform a variety of functions on PDF files. These include (but are not limited to) adding page numbers, stamps, merging, overlay, extracting pages, extract/fill-in field data, extracting/replacing/resizing images, highlighting text, extracting/editing bookmarks, SMTP emailing the output, adding/extracting attachments, resizing pages, and encryption/password protection. This is a compiled command line program that runs stand alone.
