AxY FTP (formerly known as WXftp) is an easy-to-use FTP client for the X Window System. Features include an intuitive user interface (Motif and GTK+), side-by-side local and remote directory listings, simple and convenient session manager, on-line help, progress bar, passive and non-passive transfers, and more.
AxKit is a mod_perl-based XML Application Server for Apache. Employing a rich set of standards-compliant techniques as well as extensible scripting options, AxKit provides on-the-fly conversion from XML to a variety of other formats including HTML, WAP, and plain text. AxKit's notable technical features include the introduction of XPathScript, a powerful, Perl-based transformation language, built-in support for XSLT, "smart" caching, and the easy creation of dynamic XML documents.
The ax25-tools package contains the tools that you need to get going with AX.25 for Linux. AX.25 is a network protocol that is used by hamradio operators across packet radio wireless links. This package contains the network tools to configure hamradio interfaces and some of the hamradio specific network daemons. In addition to programs that understand AX.25, they also work with ROSE and Net/ROM hamradio protocols.
The ax25-apps package contains programs for the hamradio protocol AX.25 that would be used by normal users (as opposed to network daemons). While not essential, these programs are usually installed if you want to connect to amatuer packet radio networks. Generally it is a good idea to also get the ax25-tools package so you can configure the hamradio ports. This package includes call, listen, ax25ipd and ax25rtd.
Advanced Web Statistics (AWStats) is a free powerful Web server logfile analyzer (Perl script) that shows you all your Web statistics including visits, unique visitors, pages, hits, rush hours, search engines, keywords used to find your site, robots, broken links, and more. It works with both IIS 5.0+ and Apache Web server log files as a CGI and/or from the command line. It also supports multiple languages including English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, German, Polish, and Greek.
Awka is both a translator of AWK programs to ANSI C, and a separate library against which the C code is linked. The aims of Awka are to allow creation an executable that provides generally better performance than AWK interpretors, to allow easy inclusion of AWK logic in larger C applications, and use of external C functions within AWK scripts.
AweMUD is a MUD server for use with fantasy-settings. Features include fully dynamic objects and characters, an advanced scripting system, and custom worlds. The engine will eventually have completely interactive rooms (items can be placed under benches, doors can be destroyed), complex magick, and interactive NPCs.
