Europa is a war game in which troops flow across the surface to engage opponents and ultimately dominate the board. The game concept is based on xbattle, written by Steve Lehar and Greg Lesher. Europa was running from 1996 - 2000, but due to requests from some dedicated players the server is back.
Euphoria is a simple, very high-level programming language. It has automatic garbage collection and lots of run-time error checking. The Euphoria interpreter makes it easy to develop and debug applications. The new Euphoria to C Translator converts any Euphoria program to C. You can then compile it to get a stand-alone executable file that runs almost as fast as compiled C.
Euphoria is a simple, flexible, easy-to-learn programming language. It lets you quickly and easily develop programs for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, NetbSD, OpenBSD, and Mac OS X. Although Euphoria provides subscript checking, uninitialized variable checking, and numerous other run-time checks, it is extremely fast and has the ability to compile to transparently compile native executables via C code.
eud2mbox is a conversion utility to convert Eudora mailboxes (already mostly mbox format) to real mbox-formatted mailboxes, removing all the html/x-flowed and other garbage. It also reads the TOC file and properly inserts both Status: and X-Status: headers so that mailers like mutt/pine/elm can properly tell what messages are read, new, replied, etc.
Ettercap is a network sniffer/interceptor/logger for ethernet LANs. It supports active and passive dissection of many protocols (even ciphered ones, like SSH and HTTPS). Data injection in an established connection and filtering on the fly is also possible, keeping the connection synchronized. Many sniffing modes were implemented to give you a powerful and complete sniffing suite. Plugins are supported. It has the ability to check whether you are in a switched LAN or not, and to use OS fingerprints (active or passive) to let you know the geometry of the LAN.
TAP provides packet reception and transmission for user-space programs. It can be viewed as a simple Ethernet device, which instead of receiving packets from a physical medium, receives them from a user-space program and instead of sending packets via physical media, writes them to the user-space program.
Ethernet Frame Diverter is mainly used for setting up a bridge with Squid running on it and transparently caching the Web traffic between the LAN and the router. "Transparent" means that no reconfiguration of the router or the clients is required. It also means that, in case of trouble, the machine can be replaced by a simple crossover RJ45 patch cord.
