Release Notes: This release mostly fixes bugs, with some minor additions noted in the NEWS file. If you were waiting for 5.0.1, you haven't missed it. A significant bug turned up at the last minute, so it wasn't announced, and 5.0.2 replaces it.
Release Notes: Version 5.0.0 of zsh is the new stable release. There are many changes since the last stable release series, 4.2, of which the most important is handling of multibyte characters. The file NEWS in the distribution gives more information. The file README details some incompatibilities with previous versions, mostly minor. Users of the development release series will not see major changes since the previous release, 4.3.17.
Release Notes: This is a bugfix release. It fixes a problem in 4.3.15 which caused the command hash table to take a long time to build on systems with commands stored on the network. 4.3.16 was not widely announced, and anyone upgrading should go straight to 4.3.17.
