Release Notes: This releases fixes the option to disable gathering kernel symbols on small systems. It also includes several user interface and performance enhancements.

Release Notes: This release adds x86 instruction help for AVX, FMA, XOP, and BMI. Selection of target processes with very large amounts of debugging information has been fixed. Westmere EX Xeon processors are now correctly identified. The inability to launch Zoom on systems with misconfigured locales has been fixed, as well as an issue with unreadable links in /tmp. A variety of user interface and performance improvements are also included.

A callstack filtering exception has been fixed, as well as a possible zoomscript failure after profiling with zoom CLI. Support for using the oprofile driver on newer kernels has been improved.

ZoomScript control of the Zoom GUI has been fixed to work on launch. Symbol lookup of privileged processes as well as a bug related to reading the profile buffer on SLES 11 has been fixed. An rrprofile build failure on RHEL 6.1 has been fixed. A problem with event list loading on some AMD processors has been fixed.

Release Notes: This release fixes the gathering of symbol information when controlling profiling with the ZoomScript API. The documentation and example for the RRZoomScript library have been updated. The priority of sample buffer processing threads has been increased in order to minimize the possibility of overflow. Automatic loading of the rrprofile/rrnotify drivers on SLES 11 has been fixed. The rrnotify driver has been fixed to build on SLES 10.2 (2.6.16 kernel).

Release Notes: This release adds support for 2.6.37 and later kernels. It also adds the ability to customize the maximum heap memory for the Zoom UI.
