Release Notes: This is the first release to provide the full power of a dependency injection container (based on symfon2). The previous system of compressing all core files in a single core.php file has been superseded by standard PHP .phar files. The UI for the user/group based access control system in the new admin app is finally complete. Logging and debugging options were improved. Support was added for environments with different configuration. Event handling and dispatching was improved.
Release Notes: Many bugs were fixed. The MVC code was vastly improved and much error checking was added. Much more fine grained control over error pages (ie. missing product/category, etc.) was provided. An Ajax-based shipping calculator has been added along withan improved EZPages admin UI. Some new plugins were included, most notably productGroupPricing, which allows group pricing per product. There is also a new plugin to allow tagging of products and querying them based on tags. This version has has been successfully tested with zen-cart 1.3.9a, however this release is still based on 1.3.8a (full version).
Release Notes: A major framework clean-up was undertaken, introducing Savant3, YAML, PHP 5.3 support, and more. ZenMagick now comes in two flavours: Zen Cart mod (ZenMagick code only) and Full install (including a patched and PHP 5.3-compatible Zen Cart 1.3.8a). Plugins have been refactored and simplified. ZenMagick admin pages now use the same MVC code, which allows you to run plugins in the admin UI as well. With this release, ZenMagick is now a fork of Zen Cart as it distributes its own version of Zen Cart.
Release Notes: This is a major release with a focus on plugins and restructuring all core code [part I]. There are a few new plugins with vBulleting integration, and a plugin to allow automatic re-ordering. There are also many smaller fixes and improvements.
Release Notes: The last batch of major template changes were made before 1.0. ZenMagick order_total plugins are supported (experimentally). SQL queries were further reduced, particularly in shopping cart and checkout; however, this is still work in progress. Improvements were made to database transaction handling and auto type mappings. phpBB3 support was improved via an updated plugin.
