Release Notes: xxxterm has switched to git. Because of that change, versions are now x.y.z. The authors have started with 1.6.1 for now. This release fixes a bug which caused the wrong tab to get the keystrokes, fixes a crash which occurred when hitting the back button, and fixes the search direction on a new page, ignores commands which start with a digit on completion, kills thread use for https connections (it was error-prone, and fixing it will require heaps of code), adds Web page encoding support, and adds other assorted cleanup and fixes.
Release Notes: This is a critical update that fixes a frequent crash. Please update ASAP.
Release Notes: A severe bug where the proxy settings didn't always get set was fixed. A bug where HTTPS domain whitelists could not be turned off was fixed. A WebKit bug where the back and forward history go to the same spot was worked around. A bug where certificate retrieval code didn't always exhaust all possible routes to the target server was fixed. A command and search history feature was added. A save command and search history to disk feature was added. A bug where commands would not always expand an alias was fixed.
Release Notes: A bug was fixed where :port numbers were being saved in the white lists and confusing things. A better heuristic is used to guess if something is a valid URL. :set was introduced to set, inspect, and clear runtime options. A bug was fixed in which saving a session caused all tabs to be saved and not just the ones with a (currently) valid URL. HTML5 local storage may be used in domains that are cookie white listed; this fixes sites like flickr that require this. An exception page was added to complain that something isn't correct during bringup. A time delay when typing a search term was added.
Release Notes: Certificate exceptions are displayed if there are any. The URL bar color is reset when navigating to another site. A bug where the wrong URL would end up in the URL bar was fixed. A bug where the zoom level was set too late was fixed. Cleanup and miscellaneous bug fixes were done.
