Release Notes: On Xinerama systems, xscreensaver now runs one hack on each monitor (just like in "real" multi-head mode) instead of running one hack stretching across all the screens. Note that for this to work with any 3rd party screensavers, they must update their "vroot.h" file to the latest version. An 'ljlatest' script has been added for use with 'starwars' and 'phosphor'.
Release Notes: New 'flipflop', 'antspotlight', and 'polytopes' GL hacks were included. VMS was added to 'bsod'. The program now compiles without warnings when using "gcc -pedantic". 'webcollage' and 'queens' were updated, and a bug that could cause PAM to hang was fixed.
Release Notes: This release adds the new hacks hypertorus, cubestorm, glknots, blocktube, and glmatrix. Updates have been made to cloudlife, engine, xmatrix, and sonar. glslideshow has been rewritten; it should work on somewhat wimpier video cards now. Various portability fixes have been made.
Release Notes: New hacks, cloudlife and klein, were added. Apple ][+, HPUX, and OS/390 sessions were added to BSOD. Some Matrix Reloaded text was added to xmatrix. Updates were made to webcollage, eruption, jigglypuff, metaballs, and endgame. Various minor fixes were made.
Release Notes: New hacks (flyingtoasters, bouncingcow, jigglypuff, and glslideshow), and updates to engine, gflux, and flipscreen3d.
Release Notes: New atunnels and piecewise hacks were added, and various fixes were made for Mac OS X + X11 (XDarwin) systems. A -clock option was added to barcode, and minor fixes were made to fluidballs, endgame, flurry, flipscreen3d, and gflux.
Release Notes: flurry, metaballs, eruption, popsquares, and barcode modules were added, and updates were made to maze, fluidballs, whirlygig, webcollage, glplanet, and sproingies. There were also assorted minor fixes.
Release Notes: This release includes new hacks, GLblur, and Halftone. There are updates and fixes to Endgame, Queens, Bumps, GLplanet, Engine, Circuit, Menger, Molecule, BSOD, Critical, Webcollage, Distort, and Xscreensaver-demo. There is better support for Gnome 2 and Red Hat 8.0.
Release Notes: Hopefully fixed the configure problems that were introduced with the Gtk-2.x support in the last release, and added a new GL hack, "endgame".
Release Notes: Added support for GTK/GNOME 2.x, the new hacks lavalite, queens, and anemone, and made minor updates to spheremonics, gltext, and xmatrix. GL scenes can now be manually spun with the mouse. Image loading no longer relies on external programs (xloadimage, etc). Webcollage no longer generates a lot of 404s and can now be used in conjunction with Driftnet to display images snooped from your local ethernet.
