XNap Commons

The XNap Commons provide Java classes for easy handling of common GUI tasks like sortable tables, auto completion, shortcuts, a typed settings framwork, and Swing components like common dialogs, a wizard, a closeable tabbed pane, a directory chooser, and what's-this-style context help.

    Release Notes: The closeable tabbed pane has been fixed to work with Java 6.

      Release Notes: The settings mediator has been enhanced to support JSpinner. A component iterator has been added, as well as a panel to manage shortcuts. The AboutDialog class now support a tab for license information. The gettext i18n support has been moved to a separate project named Gettext Commons. Some legacy Java 1.4 support has been cleaned up, and obsolete parts of the API have been removed.

        Release Notes: A selection action has been added, the dialog button separator can now be disabled, the SplashWindow has been improved, and a few bugs have been fixed. A French localization has been added.

          Release Notes: FileHelper has support for ProgressMonitors in copy methods. A default file transfer handler for trees has been added. It takes care of dragging and dropping of files from/to a JTree and displays a progress dialog while copying dropped files into the selected directory of the tree. A NullPointerException has been fixed in the FileChooserPanel. FileHelper.readText() has been fixed again after new test cases had uncovered unexpected behavior of the implementation. CompletionPopup and other components have been made aware of ComponentOrientation.
