Release Notes: This release contains bug fixes and performance improvements. It also features VCDIFF encoding.
Release Notes: This release includes updates for Berkeley DB 4.0.14.
Release Notes: This version incorporates changes to allow building with the native compiler on HPUX and improves a few error messages.
Release Notes: When 'patch' supplies its default TO file name recorded in the delta, it still generates a unique file name. Writing patches to stdout was broken, and is now disabled. By default, Xdelta uses a hard-coded 16 byte block size. If you're working with large files, try #undef XDELTA_HARDCODE_SIZE in xdelta.h then use -s BLOCKSIZE (--blocksize=BLOCKSIZE), which should be a power of 2. There is a new test program in the 'test' subdirectory. DJGPP patches have been incorporated. The xdelta(1) man page has been updated. Some backward compatibility issues have been corrected. The GLIB version requirement has been updated.
Release Notes: New functionality.
Release Notes: No one was able to build the 1.1.0 release because it depended on a version of glib which will not be distributed for some time. This version backs out those dependencies and now requires glib-1.2.1.
Release Notes: In addition to several bug fixes, the delta format has been changed in order to lift the 64M limit on file sizes. Old patch files are still supported. Xdelta has also been ported to Windows (native).
Release Notes: This is a bug-fix and build-improvement release, with a new command `xdelta info' which can be used to list information about a delta. There is now a gtk-style 'xdelta-config' program and autoconf macro to locate the library. Bug fixes are only to the application, not the library.
