Release Notes: Several memory leaks were fixed. The makefile was made GNU standards compliant.
Release Notes: Virtxmms was split off into a separate package and updated for xmms-1.2.9 and 1.2.10. Some installation fixes were made to virtxmms. A --version option was added to xcplay, and the playlist is no longer cleared if the file arguments are invalid. Development is halted in await of xmms2, which cleanly separates UI from core.
Release Notes: In this version, XMMS now continues playing the current song after sorting/shuffling playlist. The random shuffle now seeds on time. There is a command line option to save the current playlist. Keys for moving song up or down in playlist, moving current song to top of playlist, and for toggling playlist filename/title/path view were added.
Release Notes: Updated for XMMS 1.2.8. A button to jump to the currently playing song has been added. A binary of virtxmms is included. The terminal "tostop" flag is now set to prevent background processes from garbling up the interface. After enqueing files, it exits instead of starting up. Virtxmms now daemonizes itself.
Release Notes: Playlist searching, sorting, and shuffling were added. A missing key for previous song was fixed. Choosing the first song in the list when random was on at startup was fixed. Reading volume on startup was fixed. Xcplay now automatically starts virtxmms if it can't find any running instance of xmms.
Release Notes: A bug where XMMS would segfault when trying to update play status in the main window (which doesn't exist) has been fixed. XMMS no longer crashes when you hit the pause button. There is a huge cleanup of XMMS features, and the xmms binary is down from ~1000k to 103k. The directory for visual plugins has been set to "nowhere", so XMMS can't find them. This saves quite a bit of memory.
Release Notes: This release includes a patch script to remove the GUI of XMMS, so you can run it standalone as a daemon from the console, without the need for a fake (or real) X server.
