Release Notes: The admin area has a new look. Checkout can be done with just one page by using AJAX. XML sitemaps and product maps are supported. Google Maps can be used for shipping and billing addresses. The UPS and FedEx shipping modules have been updated to the current API documentation. Support for ZIP+4 codes used in the US has been added. The "My Account" page has been added to the customer area. An email address can now be used as a login ID. An address book was added for customers to manage their shipping and billing addresses. An admin can ask customers to confirm that they accept terms and conditions. Hello,
X-Cart 4.2 version does actually have CSS-based layout and is no longer table-based. There are other notable SEO features available there. Now it also support Google Analytics right out-of-the-box.

Modifications
X-cart is widely used and quite convenient, it's out of the question.
But after its installation still modifications are needed. One of issues is the necessity to add X-AOM at once. Its functions are essential for any shopping cart.
Wouldn't it be more comfortable to add this module to standard functionality?
