WowBB

WowBB is an innovative bulletin board with features including an auto install/upgrade, a WYSIWYG editor with integrated spell-checker, automatic time zone detection, smart caching, a visual CSS editor with real-time preview, users selectable by location, and search engine friendly URLs. It can read and write the database formats of Invision Board, phpBB, UBB.Threads, and vBulletin.

    Release Notes: The visited topics information is now stored in the database instead of as cookies. As a result, regardless of the computer or Web browser you use, the topics you previously visited will always be remembered. Other new features include significantly faster homepage load times on busy boards and increased PHP 5 compatibility.

      Release Notes: Administrators can now prune users and topics according to certain criteria. A member list is now available that can be sorted in a variety of ways. An instant email option complements the existing digest option in watched forums. The Opera browser is now fully supported, and LinkPoint was added to the list of supported payment gateways. Other new features include themes that can inherit other themes and active topics integration on forum basis.

        Release Notes: This is a maintenance release that fixes many bugs, and improves the overall performance by using a multi-level caching scheme.

          Release Notes: In this release, administrators can email users in bulk, become any user they want, resend activation email messages, and execute SQL queries. An illustrated help section for new users and a preliminary German translation have also been introduced.

            There is an admin demo at http://www.wowbb.com/admin_demo/admin.php, and you can also test the user-side of the board as much as you like at http://www.wowbb.com/forums/

            Huh?
            Certainly looks very nice. However there is no possibility to even download a demo as far as I can see. So what is it doing on freshmeat?
