WOTS is a logfile monitoring utility written in Perl. It's based on swatch but is brand new. It can be configured to watch multiple logfiles and to generate actions based on (perl regex) patterns matched in those files. Logfile rotations and variable logfile names are all possible. The actions can be printing the message, executing an external command, and others.

Release Notes: The integrated Perl implementation of send_nsca works with nagios 3, accompanied by 2 new config parameters: 'nscapassword' and 'nscaport'. Samhain logfiles can generate alerts to their respective client servers in Nagios, and be limited to only one alert per polling period, preventing an overflow of passive NSCA messages to a Nagios host when e.g. updates have been done.

Release Notes: Many new features have been added. It can now run as a Unix daemon and run on Windows and be installed as a service. Extra actions are possible. Memory leaks have been plugged.
