Workrave

Workrave is a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of repetitive strain injury (RSI). The program frequently alerts you to take micro-pauses and rest breaks, and restricts you to your daily limit. It currently runs on GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows (using GTK/Win32).

Workrave is an excellent project/software. I think it is a must-have for any one that uses the computer heavily. Whether you want to prevent or recover from RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury), taking breaks is one of the key factors. To see how Workrave stand against WorkPace, a commercial break-reminder software, check out this comparison www.fightrsi.com/2009/...
