      Release Notes: This version features support for ethers(5) database, hostname resolving, and a bootptab parser. A Spanish translation was added. The documentation was enhanced. A commandline parsing bug was fixed. Support for RPM and deb package creation was added.

          Release Notes: A memory leak in option parsing was fixed. In order to simplify things, the default IP address which magic packets are now sent is 255.255.255.255.

            Release Notes: This release forced a complete rewrite. There is better auto* support. shtool has been removed. The manual page has been replaced with an info page. The -m option has been removed, and multiple MAC addresses can be given as a command line parameter. There is i18n support (the German translation is done) and a new MAC file syntax (can be mixed with the old one). This release removes -q/--quiet and adds -v/--verbose.
