Release Notes: Support for Python 2.1 nested scopes was added. Debugger support was improved for large data values and quirky C/C++ extension types (e.g. those that raise exceptions during a comparison). Debugging of embedded Python code was fixed. The comment in/out feature was improved to be more compatible with the indent features, and many other bug fixes and minor features were added.

Release Notes: This release fixes failure to start on some Windows configurations, corrects auto-indent in tab-containing indentation, improves support for remote debugging, and fixes bugs affecting debug processes with large data values. Some minor features are included, such as use of native file selector on Windows and color-coded debug session status. Documentation has been expanded for users wishing to recompile the debug server on other platforms (Lynx OS has been tried). The release has also been tested on additional platforms, now including the following: Windows 98se, NT4 SP6, and 2000 SP1, and on RedHat 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, and 7.1; Suse 6.2, 6.4, and 7.0; Caldera 2.4; Mandrake 6.1, 7.1, and 8.0; and Debian 2.2.

Use with the final Python 2.0 release has been tested. Also included are many general usability improvements such as better auto-completion and auto-indent, importing whole directory trees into projects, and automatic removal of stale license lock files. Manuals are also now formatted for printing on A4 paper as well as US Letter.
