Does anybody know whether there is any significant development going on in WindowMaker recently?

I've been using Windowmaker for the past 5 years and have to say that it is THE best Windowmanager I've found.

Cygwin
Here is what I had to do for cygwin. I couldn't find any other help so if there is a better way please let me know...
run configure as normal
edit ./WINGs/wapplication.c to comment out line 39 - setlocale(LC_ALL, "");
make
make install
ln /usr/bin/cygpng10.lib /usr/bin/cygpng2.lib
( if you don't have cygpng10.lib then you'll want to install it. )
wmaker.inst
Edit your startxwin.sh script or whatever you use to start the window manager.
0.64.0 ?
Shouldn't 0.64.0 be called 0.63.2? In the homepage it is reported as "Mostly bugfixes, a few updated potfiles, a lot of i18n fixes, and other miscellaneous things"...
Charachters such as å/ä/ö/ü
I MEAN to be obnoxious when I also here mention
the inability to input characters such as å/ä/ö/ü
in WINGs gadgets.

It looks like their domain host is down right now, so you can't resolve windowmaker.org. I found this (ftp://shadowmere.student.utwente.nl/pub/Mirrors/ftp.windowmaker.org/pub/) mirror site to use in the mean time.
Evaluation
This one is still a winner in my book. I periodically try the latest Enlightenment for the whiz-bang features, but keep coming back to this one. It has the features I need and the speed I expect.
