Now "--timestamping" and "--continue" work well together. Release Notes: Interrupted downloads no longer result in renaming of the file. The progress bar now displays correctly in non-English locales (and a related assertion failure was fixed). Wget no longer issues a GET request over HTTP for files it should know it's not going to download.
Release Notes: The license was changed to GPLv3+. Improvements were made to the HTTP password authentication code, bringing it a little closer to RFC compliance. Basic support was added for respecting filenames specified via "Content-Disposition" headers. An --ignore-case option was added to make wildcard- and suffix-matching case-insensitive. The --spider feature is working again (as it was broken in previous release). Many bugs were fixed.
