Release Notes: In comparison to the last stable version, 1.4.6, this release implements a database abstraction layer and adds support for SQLite3 and MySQL. It also implements ACLs as well as role based access control (RBAC) and "invisible" newsgroups. The LISTGROUP, LIST NEWSGROUPS, LIST OVERVIEW.FMT, and XGTITLE commands are now supported. New documentation was written and many bugs were fixed. In comparison to the latest beta version, the documentation was improved.
