well, at this moment it still haven't won me over enough to pay for it, but if it was natively written, then I'm sure the speed will win me over, and I will gradly buy it.

but in the mean time, I guess I'm still searching for REAL linux apps

Wow, it's been about a year and a half now since I made that comment. I agree completely with Matt, it would be much faster if it was a native application. I guess my last post was mainly me just venting on someone for whining about IBM not investing money in something so he could get it for free. In my mind they met us halfway.

Re: Sucks
Travis is kind of right - it's not too slow.... however.....

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think the point is that if this was programmed as a native linux app, it would be blisteringly fast compared to this version
Don't you agree?

c'mon it isn't that slow, I have a 400 mhz machine and it ran pretty decent. Although the app is a little slow on the start, it ran fine for me, maybe yall should check you OS configurations.

Sucks
This is a truly awful program. It looks really nice, but since it runs on WINE (AFAIK) it runs so slow as to be unuseable. I agree with the above comment - why don't IBM make a program *for* Linux, instead of emulating. Instead of downloading, do yourself a huge favour and learn some HTML. It's not too difficult, and then all you need to make your homepage is emacs / vim / whatever....

Stable version 4.0?
Won't even run on my 650piii... i tried to add a table and it completely froze gnome. try making a gtk or qt port instead of using wine, then i might be interested in this one. until then, i hafta say this one sucks pretty bad

Sucks
Slow as hell. How do you really have make such a bad product? Don't you have money to make an full-linux app instead of porting Windoze one?

One nonte: this programm needs at least a 700 Mhz machine to be run nicely.
