Database Manager

Database Manager is a Web-based interface for managing files on a remote server. It can list, create, edit, copy, rename, delete, and change the permissions on files, and it can create, rename, and remove directories. It allows you to upload up to 5 files at once, find and replace text within certain file types in a directory, password protect a directory with .htaccess/.htpasswd/.htgroup protection, and track how much space the site is taking up. There is a facility for managing error documents for 401, 403, 404, and 500 errors, and it also features an easy-to-use interface for adding users, changing existing users passwords, and removing users.

      Fix for uploading files...
      Kevin writes:
      I found the portion that was causing the problem uploading files. It's in
      the upload routine, specifically this test:

      if ((length($save_as_1) > length($root_dir)) && ($filename)

      The problem I was running into was the 'save_as_1' would be very short,
      say /dir1/filename, but the 'root_dir' would be long
      (/usr/local/apache2/htdocs/, so the length test
      wouldn't pass. When I removed the length test and just left the filename
      test everything works fine. It would seem like the length test would
      normally fail, unless I've got something configured wrong that's causing it
      to fail.
