Does anyone know where I could get a tutorial for weberp or a link. The manuel in the weberp site is not enough for my requirement.

I am new to weberp.Does anyone know how does it works. To be specific, I want to know how to add a new module for book subscription and manage its accounts.Where and how the amounts are inserted. So that it appears in the balance sheet.

I have major issues when installing the system online:
- create slq db
- upload weberp to sub domain
- first run... tables get installed properly

but when I continue for initial login I get an error that I can't access dbase...
Dunno what to do...

John,

Thanks for your comments.

webERP is now close to release 2.9

It has Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account reports.

Install instructions reflect the error regarding the database not having a hypen in it.

I am not sure about the difficulties in taking on balances - one simply enters a payment or receipt as necessary.

Nice but incomplete.
This is a handsome package, but it is missing some essentials, like a balance sheet and a convenient way to initialize balances in the bank account for a new installation on an existing business.

Installation was OK once one got around the erroneous advice in the INSTALL.txt paper. (Hint: use weberp@localhost, not web-erp@localhost.) I would love to see this project completed. Currently I will have to go with something that covers the deficiencies I mention above.
