Release Notes: A number of bugs were fixed. PDF exports and the performance of OLAP (XML/A) queries was improved.
Release Notes: This release features a refactored and reusable persistence and collaboration framework for client-server communications. Most of the persistence framework was factored out of the Wabit project and placed under the SQL Power Library project in a reusable form. This release also features a Web publishing server so that developers can easily and quickly publish/share their reports with their business users. There are many stability enhancements to streaming queries.
Release Notes: The most notable bugfix is that modifying queries and images when connected to a server no longer causes other Wabit clients to enter an error state and be forced to refresh. Additionally, creating a data source from a Wabit client will correctly add it to the server for use by other clients. Other smaller fixes to increase stability and performance have been made as well.
Release Notes: This release introduces the ability to connect and work with the Wabit Enterprise Edition server (available separately). Together with the Wabit Enterprise Editon server, the Wabit 1.0.0 client allows Report scheduling and distribution, live collaboration, and fine grained security. A free trial of the Wabit Enterprise Edition server is available.
Release Notes: This release fixes several small bugs in the previous release. There were a few small graphical enhancements as well. The two most noticeable graphical changes are: the tabbed workspaces are now in stacked tabs instead of in a more traditional tabbed interface, and the charts now look glossier.
Release Notes: This release introduces several new features including improved support for embedding image into reports, a workspace search feature, support for filtering in OLAP queries, and creation of report templates. There have also been a number of GUI changes, including support for multiple workspaces in one application window, larger toolbar buttons, and the ability to drag items from the left-side workspace tree into the visual editors.
Release Notes: This release adds support for creating reports based on Multi-dimensional OLAP Cubes. It has support for both XML/A and in-process Mondrian. It has support for creating Line, Bar, and Scatter charts based off of relational and OLAP queries in a Report. It has support for streaming queries (SQLstream support). The concept that was called "Project" up until 0.9.6 is now called "Workspace." The semantics of a workspace are exactly the same as the semantics of a project. The sub-totals in the result set renderer are now correct on printouts.
Release Notes: Two updates were made to the user interface. There is a row limit that affects all queries and reports to speed up loading pages in Wabit. This limit does not affect printing. Deleting a data source now can now delete or update queries and reports associated with the data source. An exception was fixed, which occurred when loading a project with a data source that no longer exists in the pl.ini or cannot be connected to. Also The user guide was updated.
Release Notes: A user guide and help menu options were added. The starting of Wabit has changed to include a welcome screen and new project screen. Quick changes to queries no longer show stale data from intermediate steps. The query text editor now remembers executed query history and can be navigated instead of just navigating individual edits. Connections that cannot connect to their data source can no longer be added to a project. A new prompt was added for replacing old or missing database connections when loading projects with failing connections. The "About" and "Quit" menu options now work properly on Mac.
Release Notes: Queries now have a log tab to display the number of lines changed on inserts and updates and tell how long a query took to execute. When viewing a query, empty queries will no longer be executed. The editor in Windows can now be maximized from the menu. Several memory leaks have been fixed.
