W-Agora (Web-Agora) is a database-driven communications system which allows you and your visitors to store and display messages, files, and other information on your web site. More than "just another Web BBS/forum software", W-Agora is designed so it can be easily customizable through a Web browser and the use of templates. It can be used as a BBS, guestbook, download area, or publishing system. Several database backends are supported such as MySQL, Postgres, mSQL, Oracle and DBM.

Release Notes: This is mainly a maintenance release that includes a lot of bug and security fixes. Two important vulnerabilities have been fixed. All w-agora users should upgrade.


Release Notes: This release includes bugfixes, improvements to database optimization and management of logs and statistics, and several new features. The new features include pagination in lists and threads, an avatar gallery, new registration modes, the abitity to send email in HTML with attachments, better forum subscription management, and private email. The license was changed to the GPL.

Release Notes: This is a cumulative bugfixes release: numerous bugs have been fixed in the message post and WYSIWYG editor handling. Categories management has been enhanced and the Italian translations have been completed.

In addition to numerous minor or security bugfixes, the most important new feature is the inclusion of a WYSIWYG editor that allows your users to format the contents of their messages. 5 languages have been included (Czech, Dutch, Catalan, Russian, and Swedish). Several enhancements have been made to the admin panel, as well as some new end user features such as the ability to change the order in which the threads are listed (by creation date, subject, last modified, etc.).
