vttest

vttest is a program to test the compatibility (or to demonstrate the non-compatibility) of so- called "VT100-compatible" terminals. Additional tests are provided for analysis of vt220/vt420 terminals and variants of xterm.

    Release Notes: This release adds several minor fixes and portability improvements.

      Release Notes: This release makes the tests for National Replacement Characters easier to use by optionally highlighting the characters that are mapped to non-Latin1 positions. It also extends the cursor position report test to detect whether the terminal adjusts coordinates to account for origin mode.

        Release Notes: This release adds/extends test screens for VT420 and VT520 cursor movement, and display updates. These are related to the new support for left/right margins in xterm #279. Some existing screens have been extended to demonstrate origin-mode, which augments the scrolling and left/right margin modes.

          Release Notes: This release adds test screens for SGR 1006 and 1015 (alternate mouse responses), and modifies the ISO scrolling test screens to demonstrate color filling.
