Vorbis SPI is a 100% Java SPI (Service Provider Interface for the JavaSound API) that decodes Ogg Vorbis public domain audio format. It is based on JOrbis, a Java open source Vorbis library.

Release Notes: Release 1.0 provides new features that allow the reading of audio properties such as bitrate, channels, frequency, and duration. It also allows the reading of song comments such as title, album, artist, genre, and track. Developers can find sample code in the updated documents section. VorbisSPI allows local and remote files to be played and supports icecast streaming.
Release Notes: This release adds fixes for a WAV/AU SPI conflict and AudioInputStream.available(). Custom information is now available through an AudioFileFormat.getType() workaround. The design has been improved; tritonus_share.jar is now included and the old Tritonus classes have been removed. A TDebug class is now used for debugging traces. jUnit classes are included.
