All releases of VLAN

Release Notes: This release fixes return error codes in vconfig.

Release Notes: This version reworks, fixes, and tests the MAC-VLAN feature, which allows VLANs based on destination or source MAC addresses. It also adds several new IOCTL options to the 802.1Q VLAN code to allow easier programmatic interaction with VLAN devices.

Release Notes: This version includes MAC-based VLAN code and some other small tweaks.

Release Notes: The 802.1q VLAN patch is now in the official kernel, so the patch has been removed from the VLAN distribution. The vconfig utility has been updated to enable StrongARM cross-compilation.

Release Notes: Multicast reference count leaks and a crash bug when renaming VLAN interfaces were fixed. Transmit code was reworked to better mimic regular Ethernet. A man page was added.

Release Notes: Removal of the dependency on /proc filesystem, a fix for a crash bug with kmalloc & UML, growing the skbuff header in hard_start_xmit to work around MPLS problem, and a fix for a typo in the /proc display.

Release Notes: Reworking the code to be more stable and more in-line with what the kernel maintainers want to see, VLAN devices are gracefully removed from the kernel if their ethernet device is removed, and changing the default naming to eth0.5 instead of vlan5.

Release Notes: This release incorporates a fix for changing a MAC on a VLAN, includes a one-liner that should allow VLANs to be compiled as a module, and the VLAN patches now support kernel 2.2.19 and 2.4.4-pre3.

Release Notes: MAC change ability has been properly fixed. When you change the MAC address on a VLAN, it will also attempt to set the underlying device to PROMISC mode. Hashed-device lookup is disabled by default because some people had trouble with the 'lo' device.

Release Notes: This release provides support for kernel 2.4.prerelease and 2.2.18. The patch is more self contained now. Setting the MAC address should work.
