Release Notes: This version reworks, fixes, and tests the MAC-VLAN feature, which allows VLANs based on destination or source MAC addresses. It also adds several new IOCTL options to the 802.1Q VLAN code to allow easier programmatic interaction with VLAN devices.

Release Notes: Reworking the code to be more stable and more in-line with what the kernel maintainers want to see, VLAN devices are gracefully removed from the kernel if their ethernet device is removed, and changing the default naming to eth0.5 instead of vlan5.

    Release Notes: MAC change ability has been properly fixed. When you change the MAC address on a VLAN, it will also attempt to set the underlying device to PROMISC mode. Hashed-device lookup is disabled by default because some people had trouble with the 'lo' device.

      Release Notes: This release provides support for kernel 2.4.prerelease and 2.2.18. The patch is more self contained now. Setting the MAC address should work.
