Release Notes: Support for cloning of VMs was implemented. The GUI was enhanced with wizards for creating new virtual disks and for copying virtual disks. The memory limit for 64-bit hosts was raised to 1TB. Experimental support for PCI passthrough for Linux hosts was added. A new network attachment mode "Generic Driver" offering an open plugin architecture was added. A new experimental WDDM graphics driver was added, supporting Windows Aero and providing Direct3D support using a cleaner approach. Experimental support for SATA hard disk hotplugging was implemented. Many minor bugs were fixed.

Up to 36 networks cards can now be used. The network I/O bandwidth of a VM can now be limited. The GUI can now group VMs, change some settings during runtime, and has an expert mode for wizards. The API for controlling guests was enhanced. Many bugs were fixed.
