The best CAD soft for Linux
Hi, I just want to tell people reading info about VariCAD that this is most comprehensive and easy to work with CAD software at this price level.

Moreover, it's the best available for Linux.

I spent weekend over demo version and I'm definitely buying it with upgrade option.

Best regards,

Marcin

Re: Is legal?
Everything is legal!
VariCAD is linked dynamicaly. Therefore it can use the libraries licensed under LGPL (most of the libraries used by VariCAD).
VariCAD does not use any libraries licensed under GPL.
The core Mesa library has its own license, which grants permission for free, without any restrictions.
For a commercial library QT there is, of course, the valid license from Trolltech.

Is legal?
VariCAD uses OpenGL and MesaGL with other kind of GPL libraries, is it legal just to obtain a demo binary version and don not to offer a CVS or SRC version?...
