    Release Notes: This release has been updated to 2.4.1 which includes reiserfs, the page dirty and access bits are now emulated, several more types of channels may be attached to serial lines and console, and a number of bugs have been fixed.

        Release Notes: This is the usermode port of the 2.4.0-prerelease kernel. hostfs is now pretty much working, with writing and execution now working. A few bugs were fixed. It is now possible to hook the consoles and serial lines up to host ptys, ttys, and ports.

          Release Notes: Updated to 2.4.0-test12. The build was fixed so that profiling kernels can be built again. Several crashes were fixed, as well as a pair of bugs in the block driver which resulted in a hang and filesystem corruption.

            Release Notes: This release has been updated to 2.4.0-test11, and can now run as a daemon with no stdin/stdout/stderror. A number of bugs have also been fixed.

              Release Notes: User-mode Linux has been updated to 2.4.0-test10. A number of bugs, including the stack overflow problem that many people saw in test9, have been fixed.

                Release Notes: User-mode linux has been updated to 2.4.0-test9. Breakpoint handling has been fixed in the kernel debugger and in gdb, both of which now work well. Various other bugs were fixed. There are also a number of new bootable filesystems available, including Red Hat 7.0, Mandrake 7.1, and Immunix 6.2.

                  Release Notes: User-mode Linux has been updated to 2.4.0-test8. It now boots on LFS kernels. The block driver now handles out-of-range accesses better. Various other bugs were fixed. There is now a Debian 2.2 filesystem, a test harness, and a small test suite available.

                    Release Notes: This release has been updated to 2.4.0-test7. Several crashes and build problems were fixed. The debugging options are now configurable.

                      Release Notes: This release has been updated to use Linux 2.4.0-test6. Some bugs were fixed. A virtual ethernet driver and a debugging interface which allows the kernel to be run under gdb have been added.
