UnboundID LDAP SDK for Java

UnboundID LDAP SDK for Java is a fast, comprehensive, and easy-to-use Java API for communicating with LDAP directory servers and performing related tasks like reading and writing LDIF, encoding and decoding data using base64 and ASN.1 BER, and performing secure communication. It may be used on any platform that supports Java SE 5.0 or later, as well as on Android mobile devices.

    Release Notes: Many changes over the previous 2.1.0 release, including a new Minimal Edition (focused on a small jar file size for resource-constrained environments like Android), the ability to configure a connection pool to automatically retry operations on a new connection if a failure indicates the connection may no longer be valid, new features and fixes for the in-memory directory server, easier searching in the persistence framework, improved GSSAPI support, and several other fixes.

      Release Notes: The LGPLv2.1 was added as a license. Support for using the LDAP SDK with Maven and OSGi was added. Schema-related functionality was improved. Additional features were added to the searchrate/modrate/authrate command-line tools.
