Release Notes: This is the initial release of the ucommon cryptographic services. These are built on top of openssl, and include multi-threaded SSL socket support, cryptographic digests and ciphers, and a random number generation. Issues in documentation generated by doxygen have also been fixed.
Release Notes: Configure flags have been added to optionally compile-in SOCKS proxy support, and the core Socket ABI class has been further extended to make sure socket operations that may be affected either by thread library changes or proxy support are wrapped.
Release Notes: A full bidirectional streaming class, native ucommon buffered I/O, and buffered TCP objects were added. Critical fixes were made for object queues and reusable object pools. The qeueof and stackof templates were refined. Name and service resolution were standardized.
Release Notes: GNU uCommon has merged in the GNU ccscript engine and an upcoming release of the GNU telephonic audio library to introduce the GNU uCommon C++ framework as a single source package and distribution. This also means this release produces complete framework documentation for ucommon and all associated libraries together.
Release Notes: A new utf8_pointer string pointer class and further Unicode support have been added. A new component access API for datetime objects was introduced. New object containers and templates for object stacks, FIFOs, and queues were added. Debian packaging has also been revised.
Release Notes: A portable Unicode and UTF-8 encoding aware string class along with additional Unicode conversion support were added. A new automatic datetime string class was added to further simplify generation and use of ISO formatted date and time stamps.
Release Notes: This is a new ABI release. Much of the ABI has been re-factored for consistency, completeness, and documentation. New classes to support date and time objects have been migrated from Common C++. CMake support has been improved to generate packages.
Release Notes: A fix was made for an internal lseek bug based on a bug found in the upcoming 2.1.0 release.
Release Notes: cmake configure build support was introduced for ucommon. This makes it easy to create and integrate IDE builds. A man page was introduced and documentation was cleaned up. Some ABI fixes were made for missing methods and gcc 4.4 pedantic issues were addressed.
Release Notes: Introduction of DCCP socket support. Improvements in multicast socket and cross-platform support.
