tzoperl is a Perl Client-Daemon for TZO DDNS Services. The service works with dial-up, DSL, Cable Modems, ISDN, and most types of connections that get you connected to the Internet. TZO gives you a domain which will point to your machine to make it easier to run services on your machine. TZO also has a specialized mail store and forward service that will hold all mail for your domain/s if you go offline for a while.
Release Notes: The client now uses Perl Sockets to connect to the TZO servers, so no longer requires lynx. New features include logging of sign-on, sign-offs, and current IP, and a daemon that detects change of IP and schedules an update.
Release Notes: This version has been rewritten in Perl. It is better at grabbing the current IP address and also allows users to make dynamic changes to their loging via command line arguments instead of editing the script.
