It also adds a new class called TVIntl that's a wrapper for the libintl/gettext i18n library. The compilation mechanism was simplified, and support was added for newer Win32 compilers (Borland CBuilder 6 and MSVC 7).

Release Notes: Added a new mechanism called "pseudo-drivers" to handle the difference between systems. Using this mechanism some brand new targets were added: X11, QNX, and XTerm/Eterm. The Linux driver was reworked and the DOS driver made safer. The Win32 drivers were also enhanced. There are new classes to handle configuration files, code pages, and fonts. The support for big endian platforms is much better. This release also adds support for the MSVC compiler and the newer versions of MinGW and Cygwin.

The first (incomplete) version of the QNX driver is included. The Win32 (Cygwin/MinGW) driver was adapted and enhanced. The Win32/BC++ hasn't been adapted yet.

The 100% CPU usage in the BC++ 5.5 version, some Solaris problems, and desklogo and listvi examples have been fixed.
