Release Notes: The inability to function on non-devfs systems has been fixed. The "canonicalization" of device names has been rewritten. Absolute symlinks in /dev are no longer a problem. An RPM package is available.
Release Notes: This release is a partial rewrite. It now also works in systems with devfs enabled, and enhances ext3 filesystem support. It also tries harder to see if a filesystem is already mounted in another place. It should now work with whatever devices the kernel recognizes as containing partitions (i.e. not only IDE and SCSI disks, but flash devices, "diskonchip", XT hard disks, etc.).
Release Notes: transitmount now handles "soft" volume labels, which enables putting a label on all kernel-supported filesystems types. Also, it now really calls e2fsck for ext2 (which didn't work in version 0.2).
Release Notes: This release has better handling of ext2 partitions (now fscks them before mounting), and uses e2label to find their label.
