Release Notes: In this version, a new command swaps two memory banks. Users can now read from, and write to the radio during the same session. The main window appears on top when the program first starts. A bug which occurred when a user tries to save a template before opening a template or reading from the radio has been fixed. The serial port will be opened and configured only when required to communicate with the radio.
Release Notes: Memory bank channels may now be edited within tk120. Channels may be changed, deleted, inserted, or swapped with adjacent channels. More comprehensive changes can be made by exporting the channels to a CSV file, then using a text editor or spreadsheet program. When the mode for a memory channel imported from a CSV file is not specified, tk120 will set the mode according to the Auto Band plan.
Release Notes: New controls were added for VFO, Memory, and Dual Watch scan resume selection of busy, pause, and hold. A new duplicate frequency check alerts the user to frequencies which appear in multiple memory channels.
Release Notes: In this version, a new Sort command in the Data menu permits one to sort memory channels by frequency or by label within any bank or within all banks. A Clear command clears all memory channels. This is useful before importing a memory channel CSV file if you want to override the current channels instead of merging the channels in the file with the current channels.
Release Notes: Radio version choices are now USA and Other. The user will be warned of blocked frequencies only if he has chosen the USA model radio. Warnings were added about 1001-1002 and 1009-1010 MHz blocked frequencies for the USA version. tk120 reads the radio version information directly from the radio, saves it in the .tk120rc (or t120.ini) file, and uses it when writing back to the radio, independent of what the user identifies as the version. The Serial Communications fields are now visible at all times.
Release Notes: Users may now program the band stacking memory frequencies and modes, which are validated to make sure they are within the corresponding bands. A warning message is displayed if the user attempts to program 474 - 475 MHz frequencies, which are blocked in the USA version. A bug which prevented changes to bit flags 1A14 Bit 0 and 1A14 Bit 1 in the memory image has been fixed.
Release Notes: Dozens of new widgets provide the ability to select Bank Scan or Scan All Memories, link memory banks for scanning, choose between antennas, etc. Users can now access an undocumented User Port menu within the radio. VFO settings are broken out into a new, separate window. A new installation procedure and batch file permits using the same installation process for Windows XP and earlier Windows variants. New balloon help messages explain controls for novice users.
Release Notes: tk120 now supports USA, Japanese, and Export version VR-120 receivers. A new batch file and installation procedure is included for Windows users.
Release Notes: This release can read from and write to both USA and European VR-120 receivers. It supports all step sizes, preferential scan flags, and cleared memory channels. It incorporates a new data validation command and balloon help popup windows.
