I had these problems myself, but only in IE. It turns out tinyMCE is a bit picky about where it's located. Try removing any tags and specify the location to tinyMCE using absolute paths. See also http://www.cmsimple.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=10061&sid=33130d57605923e9cb8ad341fdb06156

Could you please share your solution on solving the missing function. I have the same problem, but have been unable to fix it.

Missing Template Function
Example applications work find. When I try and use TinyMCE I get an alert box saying "Could not find template function: TinyMCE_advanced_getEditorTemplate

any suggestions?

Also, how do you get the editor on the top of the textarea?

Re: more stable than htmlarea 3
Why it takes long time to load could be that our server is located in Sweden on a pretty low line. Been thinking of using SF webserver as a mirror site.
I will look in to the history issue in Firefox.

more stable than htmlarea 3
Since I last tried htmlarea 3 a couple of days ago this seems more stable and the same version works in mozilla and IE, so nice one.

Only gripe is the hundred years it takes to load each button bitmap individually after onload, and how this messes up firefox browse history something awful

Re: Very nice!
The focus bug was addressed in the latest release. Regarding why it doesn't work on konqueror, it's simply due to the lack of functionality in that browser. And Mozilla, Firefox and MSIE is the main focus for this tool, the day Konqueror and Opera implement the Midas specification I will look in to these browsers as target platforms aswell.

Re: Cut, Paste in Firefox?
Hmm, this seems to be due to security reasons in Mozilla and Firefox.

They do have a point, I will remove these icons in the next release. No need for them anyway, who doesn't know how to user Ctrl+C/P/X. :-)

Check this one for details:

Cut, Paste in Firefox?
Great tool; one problem.

I can't get the cut/copy/paste tools to work with

Firefox 0.9. They do work with IE. Using both under WinXP.

It complained about control not focused on firefox / linux,

not working at all in konqueror :(. Sux.
