The jflicks media system allows people to manage their video, audio, photos, and other media in their home. It is a "whole house DVR" for one or more home theater PCs (HTPC) on the home network. Each HTPC can access any media item on any other in the home. When needed, the system uses other software to get work done. For example, it uses mplayer and VLC to display video.

Release Notes: This is the official 1.0 release. The project is cross-platform, but being somewhat dependent on hardware devices which are operating system-dependent, it has the most support for GNU/Linux. Included are simple installation programs and a desktop application which help with setup and configuration. Also new in this release is an installation which allows easy installation of all server and client services on one PC. This is great for people who don't care about the distributed nature of the system, will only run the system on a single PC, and will not stream media to other PCs on their local network.

Release Notes: This is the initial public release. It has simple installation programs for Linux and Windows.
