TCMixer is an X11 mixer with a neat interface. It uses X11 and Xpm libraries and does not require a bloated GUI toolkit to compile. Common audio controls are supported. It's very small, and takes up little desktop space.
Release Notes: A new keyboard control, a Makefile fix to accomodate Red Hat distribution problems, switching to getopt() for argument parsing, and forking and detaching of mixer from tty (no need to background it anymore).
Release Notes: The UI code was rewritten. Mixer read/write operations were streamlined. Mixer updates from other programs are now properly handled. Unsupported mixer channels are blocked, and functionality of the mute button has been fixed. Unneeded floating point calculations were removed. The -m option was added to specify a particular mixer device from command line.
Release Notes: This release adds X11 optimizations, an updated main xpm, support for 8bpp, a general code cleanup, and a small UI change.
Release Notes: Initial release.
