Tcl Message Queues

Tcl Message Queues provides a Tcl interface to POSIX Message Queues. It exports, in the form of a Tcl package, the complete functionality provided by the underlying POSIX API, in a way familiar to Tcl programmers. Tcl-mq allows Tcl scripts to create, open, close, and unlink multiple parallel message queues, and to send/receive Tcl lists from and to them, in a synchronous and asynchronous manner. A POSIX message queue is an Inter-Process Communication mechanism available on Linux and some other POSIX-compliant operating systems.
