The rules for characters allowed in free-link page names and page anchors (including '[', '{', '}', and '}') have been relaxed, Content-Length headers were added to speed up page loading, some SQL statements have been modified to improve performance (particularly with RecentChanges), and the page name (split WikiWords) has been added to the list of meta keywords for the page.

Release Notes: This release contains fixes for all known 'Tavi 0.21 bugs, including PHP 4.03 regexp bug, single quite in WikiNames bugs, Content-Length header emission to speed up page loading, allowing URLs to end in an underscore, and the halting of warning generation when PHP config variable 'error_reporting' is set to 15. Release Notes: Several bugfixes (including a security fix) and several minor new features, such as HTML anchors, arbitrary free links, RSS syndication, XHTML-Strict compliance and CSS, a more flexible and powerful installation process, compatibility with register_globals=off, an option to split words in page titles, headers, and links, better template abstraction for easier appearance customization, a new "no link" prefix, addition of "!" which will prevent the linking of a WikiWord, new Transclude syntax, and a time zone preference for users.

        •  15 Jan 2002 23:28

Release Notes: This release has minor bugfixes and installations tweaks, and introduces '!' as a no-link prefix (prefix a WikiWord with '!' (i.e. !WikiWord)) to prevent the automatic linking of that WikiWord. This is expected to be the last release prior to the Stable 0.21 release. The only changes that should probably occur between now and then are documentation changes.

Release Notes: Improved and expanded installation instructions, some increased security capabilities, a new ability for arbitrary link text for free links, a new ability to create HTML anchors to the same page, support for RSS syndication, and better support for Cascading Style Sheets.

I contacted the author about this, and it was a mistake. It's been
removed from the Adaptive Technologies category.

            Odd Listing Though
I was originally attracted to this because it's in Freshmeat's "Adaptive Technologies" category.

Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with adaptive technology, so I'm rather disappointed.

            Author.

I just wanted to point out that the author of this program is Scott Moonen (http://tavi.sourceforge.net/ScottMoonen).

I'm just a developer on the program who posted the freshmeat announcement. ;-)
