Release Notes: A DatePicker component, a new engine service for linking into Tapestry from external applications, and client-side form validations were added. Dynamically generated HTML is now in XHTML format. Documentation is now available in both HTML and PDF format.
Release Notes: Tapestry now uses the Object Graph Navigation Library, which allows more logic to be expressed in the component specification rather than in Java code. There is now a complete Component Reference as part of the documentation.
Release Notes: This release adds extensions, configurable objects attached to the library, and application specifications. It now also handles forwards (to HTML or JSP files) properly.
Release Notes: A new mechanism for packaging components (along with related pages and engine services) as libraries, and a namespace mechanism to disambiguate names.
Release Notes: A number of bugs in ValidatingTextField were fixed. The service parameters were reworked to be typed objects, rather than simple strings. The URL format was simplified and improved. Specifications are now more heavily validated. The page and component specifications were split into two separate entities.
Release Notes: This release bundles Jetty 4.0.4. Scripts can now use an Ant-like syntax. Many minor annoyances from 2.1 are now fixed.
Release Notes: Significant changes were made since Tapestry release 2.0. Localization has been greatly enhanced. Each component may now have its own set of localized strings, with easy access to those strings in the component specification and in the component HTML template. Tapestry can now connect a component's parameters to the JavaBeans properties of the component class. This simplifies component development and matches developer expectations. Tapestry now automatically configures and deploys itself into JBoss 3.0.0. Java packages were renamed from com.primix.tapestry.* to net.sf.tapestry.*.
Release Notes: This is a release candidate for Tapestry 2.1.
No changes have been submitted for this release.
Release Notes: Fixes for several minor bugs, and updated build scripts to auto-configure the Tapestry demonstrations into JBoss 3.0.0 (previous releases worked with 2.4.3).
