Release Notes: Incremental and differential backup options were added. The user can now select to overwrite a tape, but the default is always to append to tape. Release Notes: Taperestore now correctly restores backups that span tapes. It also now allows you to select which backup on the current tape you wish to restore. Tapels is not so verbose now, listing only the backup sets on the current tape instead of every file in every backup set on the current tape. Tapeback now continues where it left off when it hits the end of the tape and the tape is changed (the old behavior was to restart the current file from its beginning).
