Release Notes: This release fixes a major problem with the ISO filesystem that prevented the CD-ROM from booting on some hardware. FSArchiver 0.1.2 (a filesystem backup tool has been added). The standard kernels have been updated to Linux 2.6.26.8. The ability to uninstall all the graphical tools using sysresccd-cleansys during the customization process has been added.

Release Notes: This is mostly a bugfix and quality improvement release. The default kernels were upgraded to Linux-2.6.25.04 and the alternative kernels to Linux-2.6.24.07. aufs is used instead of unionfs to improve stability. Booting from a network via PXE or with docache now works with only 256MB of RAM. The btrfs filesystem support was updated to 0.14, Xorg-server to 1.4, ntfs3g to 1.2506, and gparted to 0.3.7. Fonts in the graphical environment were improved. Support was added for 256-byte inodes in ext3fs in grub-0.97. The epdfview PDF viewer was added. A shell problem with the serial console was fixed.

Boot from network via PXE or with docache now work with only 256MB of RAM. Updated the btrfs filesystem support to 0.14 (kernel patch and utils). The graphical environment was updated to Xorg-server version 1.4, ntfs3g to 1.2506, and gparted to 0.3.7. Support was added for 256-byte inodes in ext3fs in grub-0.97. A PDF viewer (epdfview-0.1.6-r1) was added and a shell problem with the serial console was fixed.

Release Notes: This version comes with complete UTF-8 support. It also adds an option to automatically configure a VNC server at boot time so that you can remotely run graphical programs such as GParted. The network boot options have been rewritten and improved. There is now an eth0=ipaddr option as well as ethx=ipaddr. A bug in e2fsprogs that prevented grub from installing on a partition formatted with mke2fs was fixed. The "initscript=service:action" boot option was added, which lets you start or stop services automatically. The kernel and system applications were upgraded.

Release Notes: The default desktop is now JWM 2.0.1 instead of WindowMaker. unionfs 2.2.4 is used as the root filesystem so that all files of the live CD can be edited and modified. This release updates gparted to 0.3.6 (add support for the labels), squashfs to 3.3 (with LZMA compression), ntfsprogs to 2.0.0, ntfs3g to 1.2310 , Memtest86+ to 2.01, and cdrkit to 1.1.7.1 (Fix for Joliet directory length bug). An autorun bug introduced in 1.0.0 and bugs in the network configuration boot options have been fixed.

Release Notes: The kernels were updated to Linux-2.6.23.14 (as the default) and 2.6.22.16 (as the alternative kernel) with Reiser4. The kernel was patched with a fix for the sis190 network driver. The build files were updated to catalyst-2.0.5 and genkernel-3.4.9. gparted was patched to prevent a crash. The iproute2 package was fixed (/sbin/ip was not installed) and the lvm2 initscript was broken. Two boot options (dodebug and lowmem) were added. Proprietary ATI and nVidia drivers were added for XOrg. ksh and tcsh shells, pbzip2-1.0.2 (Parallel bzip2), lzma-utils-4.32.2, and mount-cifs were added.

Release Notes: The main kernel was upgraded to 2.6.23.08 and the alternative one to 2.6.22.12. sys-fs/ntfs3g was updated to 1.1120. The support for the smbfs was introduced again. Accented characters in the zsh console were fixed. Madwifi support and extra ntfsprogs tools were added. Boot options were added to configure the network and the root password from the command line (rootpass=xxx , ethx=ipaddr, gateway=ipaddr, dns=ipaddr). A bug with USB keys was fixed. The autorun scripts were also fixed, as they were not executed when the docache option is used.

It fixes the PXE that was broken on 64-bit kernels, as well as the docache option for hard disk installation and the setkmap option in the customization script. RAID monitoring tools have been added. Oscar and ntfs3g have been upgraded to 1.1004, and parted was upgraded to 1.8.8.

Oscar and ntfs3g have been upgraded to 1.1004, and parted to 1.8.8.

Release Notes: This release adds support for PXE network booting, improves the kernel configuration and hardware support, adds an alternative kernel (vmlinuz2) based on 2.6.20 in case the main kernel fails, and adds a partimage-ssl client so users can connect to a partimage server with SSL enabled. Major bugs were fixed since the previous beta versions.
