Release Notes: This release is primarily a collection of fixes. It adds support for passing DHCP information to a Solaris kernel. It adds support for systems that use the incompatible E820 definition from ACPI 3. MEMDISK now defaults to "safeint".
Release Notes: This release introduces sevral new features. The most significant one is a new "hybrid mode" for ISOLINUX, which allows a single image to be booted either from CD-ROM or from a hard disk/flash media, for example USB sticks. Additional news includes tab completion of label names, as well as better support for Microsoft SDI images.
Release Notes: This version contains a number of minor bugfixes and workarounds for hardware bugs. It fixes the KBDMAP command which was broken in 3.70. Additionally, it adds the option to hide primary partitions from operating systems which otherwise get confused and the ability to automatically select 32-bit, PAE, or 64-bit kernels.
Release Notes: gPXE has been integrated with PXELINUX. This allows network files to be accessed over protocols other than TFTP. TFTP no longer requires a server that can present the "tsize" option. SYSLINUX has added VFAT long filenames. chain.c32 can now access files directly when loading NTLDR (WinNT) or kernel.sys, io.sys, or ibmbio.sys (DOS). chain.c32 can now also install a drive-swapping stub for BIOS, which allows cross-drive booting of Windows. The complex menu system should now work as advertised again. USB keyboards have been fixed on some systems.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug where EXTLINUX was confused by directories that contained deleted files. Support for class E addresses as unicast was added in PXELINUX. Support for Microsoft SDI RAM disk images was added. Bugs in the PCI and DMI detection code was fixed. Bogus host platform dependencies in the build system were cleaned up.
Release Notes: The primary new feature of this release is support for hierarchical submenus in the simple menu system. In addition to that, this release eliminates a lot of hardcoded limitations, such as the maximum number of labels, which are now only limited by memory, and the length of the command line. Furthermore, this release fixes the graphical display on systems which do not support the linear framebuffer option in the VESA BIOS.
Release Notes: This release fixes issues with empty files in Extlinux, with SHA-1 and MD5 passwords, with Isolinux and non-mkisofs mastering programs, and BIOSes which return memory map information in nonminimal chunks.
Release Notes: This release adds "boot-once" functionality for EXTLINUX, and introduces a general framework for persistent data storage.
Release Notes: This release addresses a bug in the shuffle interface (used to boot non-Linux images) and adds RFC 5071 compliance. Additionally, this release adds man pages from the Debian project.
Release Notes: This revision fixes the graphical menu on Qemu/KVM, and adds a few more commands for menu formatting.
