Release Notes: This version has been intensively improved. Several bugs have been fixed. Startup of klogd and syslogd has been stabilized. Console log changes have been deactivated. The symbol parser and the oops module for 2.6 have been rewritten.
Release Notes: klogd will now set the console log level only if -c is given on the commandline, not overwriting local settings in /etc/sysctl.conf. It will use SOCK_DGRM as well, and re-enables kernel logging. It doesn't make syslogd fail with a broken -a. It will skip zero bytes and not enter a busy loop anymore. A patch has been made to prevent LogLine() from being invoked with a negative counter as an argument.
