Syntax Desktop

Syntax Desktop is a publishing system used to manage the contents of a Web site. It has an attractive GUI with DHTML elements. You can use it to insert news, photos, documents, and tree data structures into your site. It features easy DB backup and style switching.

    Release Notes: A new install wizard. The password is now hashed with a randomly generated salt. The TimyMCE editor (beta) has been added. There are small bugfixes.

      Release Notes: The user interface was restyled. The HTML/CSS code was cleaned up.

        Release Notes: Some missing files were added to the package and to the svn repository. The setup process was fixed.

          Release Notes: New permission management was implemented. Groups can be organized in a tree structure. The pages gain some write/read permissions based on the owner group. A new setup script was provided. The GUI was enhanced. A new MySQL backup system and a new login interface were included. Small usability changes were made.

            Release Notes: Syntax Desktop implements a new page management system. Page compilation is no longer needed. Some bugs were fixed. More Firefox compatibility was added.
