Quoted-printable or base64 encoding is now forced on PGP/MIME signing instead of stripping trailing spaces (except for the case of ISO-2022-JP encoding). The performance of "Mark all read" on IMAP folders has been improved.
Release Notes: The address completion feature was improved. In the Win32 version, the sylpheed.ini file is now loaded on startup, the OpenSSL library was upgraded, and a bug that the folder path separator was not processed correctly when creating and renaming search folders was fixed.

Automatically filtered IMAP4 messages are also counted for new mail notification. Several crash bugs and other minor bugs were fixed. On Win32, included libraries were updated to the latest version, the redraw of windows is smoother (GTK+), and Win32 shell icons are displayed in the file selection dialog (GTK+).

An option to input a signature directly was added to the account preferences. A signature is automatically generated when creating a new account. Bcc: and Reply-To: were added to the template. The '/etc/ssl/certs' directory is used for SSL certificate verification if it exists. When an SSL certificate cannot be verified, a confirmation dialog is now displayed. In Unix, the resolver is now reinitialized if '/etc/resolv.conf' is modified.
